UNDATED – Day number two of action at the South Dakota Boys Class AA, A and B State Basketball Tournaments is complete and Saturday night’s championship games are set.
In Class AA, Sioux Falls O’Gorman defeated Sioux Falls Washington 51-48 to punch their ticket to the championship game. They will play Sioux Falls Roosevelt, who knocked off Yankton 69-43.
In the Class A Championship, it will be Sioux Falls Christian taking on Sioux Valley. Sioux Falls Christian earned their trip to the championship game with a 64-52 win over Dell Rapids. Sioux Valley defeated Dakota Valley 62-57 to earn their trip to the championship game.
In Class B, top seeded DeSmet beat Viborg-Hurley 56-44 and Aberdeen Christian defeated Dell Rapids St Mary 60-53 to set up a championship match between the two.
In the consolation games Friday aafternoon, St Thomas More came back from a 10 point deficit at halftime to beat Vermillion 35-32. The Cavaliers outscored the Tanagers 25-12 in the second half to get the win. St Thomas More will play Chamberlain Saturday for fifth place.
