South Dakota’s congressional delegation taken to safe location

WASHINGTON, D.C. – South Dakota’s Congressional delegation has been taken to a safe location as a riot continues in the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington.

KELO.com News received confirmation from a member of Sen. Mike Rounds’ staff and a member of Sen. Thune’s staff. KELO.com News has left a voicemail with Rep. Dusty Johnson.

Senator Thune, Sen. Rounds, and Congressman Johnson were in the Capitol listening to the debate over the Electoral College Presidential votes when the melee broke out.

National news agencies have reported shots fired in the U.S. House.
