BOX ELDER, S.D. – Spearfish captured the Black Hills Conference boys golf title at the Prairie Ridge Golf Course in Box Elder Tuesday.
The Spartans won the conference championship for the seventh year in a row with a low team score of 328.
St Thomas More finished in second with a 337, Belle Fourche was third with a 356 and Sturgis was fourth with a 368.
Winning the individual medalist honor was Vincent Van Liere of St Thomas More with a 79. He won a two-hole playoff against Parker Reede of Spearfish, who finished in second.
Top placing Sturgis Scooper was Braxton Tieman in ninth place.
