SPEARFISH, SD – The City of Spearfish continues its search to hire a City Administrator.
Mayor John Senden explained the City has brought in top prospects for interviews but has not yet filled the position.
The City Administrator position has been open since December 2023, with City Department heads and Elected Officials guiding the City during the transition and Mayor Senden taking on a portion of the responsibilities.
The City Administrator position is responsible for directing, managing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the City while planning for and providing guidance to the City Council regarding future operations.
