SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch were back in action Thursday, opening up a home series with the Fremont Moo.
Spearfish edged out the Moo at Black Hills Energy Stadium by the score of 9 to 8.
The Sasquatch amassed nine hits in the game as Kyle Phin and Ryan Bachman each collected a pair of hits for Spearfish.
The Sasquatch improve to 5-7 on the season.
The two teams play game 2 of their series tonight at 6:05 p.m.
