SPEARFISH, S.D. – Spearfish Post 164 Legion Baseball split a twin bill with Aberdeen Sunday.
In game one, Spearfish scored two runs in the bottom half of the seventh inning to escape with a 10-9 win.
Aberdeen led Spearfish 9-1 heading into the bottom fourth inning. That’s when Spearfish rallied and scored 2 in the fourth and five in the fifth before scoring the 2 runs to win in the seventh.
Aiden Haught had 3 R.B.I. to help lead Spearfish. Alec Sundsted got the pitching win with 7 strikeouts.
In game 2, Aberdeen jumped out to a 9-1 lead again, and held on for a 14-3 victory.
