Spearfish Sasquatch open playoffs with loss to Badlands

SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Spearfish Sasquatch opened the Independence League Playoffs with a loss to the Badlands Big Sticks.

The Sasquatch stranded nine runners on base, including a bases loaded situation in the eighth inning.

Badlands defeated Spearfish 7 to 4.

Spearfish made three errors on the night.

The two teams meet for game two Monday night at 6:30 p.m.
