GERING, Neb. – The Spearfish Sasquatch won game two and swept the Western Nebraska Pioneers to punch their ticket to the first ever Expedition League Championship series.
The Sasquatch beat the Pioneers 3-1 to win the best-of-three Clark Division playoff series two games to none.
Hayden Sylte went 2 for 4 with a triple and a run to help lead the Sasquatch.
Spearfish will meet the Souris Valley Sabre Dogs in the best of 3 game series.
Game one is Friday night in Spearfish. Game two will be in Minot, ND Saturday and game three, if necessary, is Sunday.
