SPEARFISH, SD – The Spearfish Spartan volleyball team extended their winning streak to 10 games with a three set sweep of the Sturgis Scoopers on Tuesday night.
The Spartans won the match, 25-17, 25-10, 25-17 to improve their record to 11-5 on the year. Kali Reiners led Spearfish with 24 assists, one ace and one kill. Avery Kirk added 13 kills and two aces for the Spartans.
Sturgis falls to 2-11 on the year and were led by Danica Dschaak with nine kills and four aces. Makenna LaBeau chipped in 16 assists.
The Scoopers are in action next this Saturday at the Belle Fourche volleyball tournament.
