SPEARFISH, S.D. – Spearfish Post 164 was in action Tuesday and hosted Box Elder Post 315 in a doubleheader at the Black Hills Energy Stadium.
Box Elder jumped out to an early lead and won the first game 15-5 as Cooper Morlang drove in four runs on three hits to lead Post 315.
Meanwhile, Spearfish bounced back to win the win the second game, 8-4.
Cody Chapman collected three hits in three at bats including a home run to left field in the first inning.
Overall, Spearfish is now 14-18 on the season and Box Elder is 4-5.
