STURGIS, S.D. – Spearfish captured the team title of the Boulder Canyon Invitational at Boulder Canyon Country Club Tuesday.
The Spartans placed first with a score of 42 with Rapid City Central in second with a 46. Sturgis placed third with a 68.
Winning the individual title was Vincent VamLiere of St Thomas More with a 3 over par 75. Parker Reede of Spearfish and Ben Gibson of Rapid City Central tied for second with a 77.
Aiden Voyles of Belle Fourche was fourth and Charlie Rasmussen of Spearfish rounded out the top five.
Top placing Sturgis Scooper was Braxton Tieman, who tied for 7th place with Rapid City Central’s Ian Jensen. Both players finished with a 12 over par 84.
