Spearfish wins team title of BH Classic Monday

STURGIS, S.D. – Spearfish claimed the team title of the Black Hills Classic Golf Tournament held at Boulder Canyon Country Club Monday.

The Spartans finished with a low team score of 324. Rapid City Stevens finished in second with a 328 and Rapid City Central was third with a 342. Pierre was fourth and Sturgis came in fifth.

Sam Grout of Spearfish won individual medalist honors, scoring a low 77. Alex Humke of Stevens finished in second and Alex Duron of Central was third.

Highest scoring Scooper was Carter Kirk in 18th.
