RAPID CITY, S.D. – In boys prep golf Monday, Spearfish captured the team title of the Rapid City Invitational.
The Spartans finished with a low team score of 304, well ahead of second place finisher Rapid City Central with 327.
Custer placed third with a 341 and Rapid City Stevens was fourth with a 357. Hot Springs rounded out the top five with a 358.
The Sturgis Scoopers placed 10th.
Winning individual medalist honors was Charlie Rasmussen of Spearfish with a 66.
Ian Jensen of Rapid City Central was second with a 75 and Parker Reede of Spearfish was third two strokes back.
