SPEARFISH, S.D. – Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but the Spearfish Sasquatch fell to the Casper Spuds 11-8 on Monday.
The Spuds collected 14 hits, while Spearfish had 11.
Micah Coleman collected three hits in four at bats in the loss. Coleman doubled in the ninth inning, singled in the fourth inning, and singled in the sixth inning.
Levi Graham earned the win for Casper. They allowed two hits and zero runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out two and walking one. Jordan Boman took the loss for the Sasquatch. The righty went four innings, surrendering six runs on eight hits, striking out two and walking one.
The two teams will meet again Tuesday night in Spearfish.
