UNDATED – St Thomas More wrapped up the 2020-2021 basketball season with a fourth place finish at the Class A State Basketball Tournament.
Second-seeded Winner beat the Lady Cavaliers 54-51 Saturday evening to capture third place.
It capped off a wonderful season for Cavalier Haleigh Timmer, who was awarded the coveted Spirit of Su award.
In other consolation action Saturday, Belle Fourche finished in eighth place as they dropped a 49-42 game to McCook Central/Montrose.
At the Class AA Tournament, Rapid City Central fell to Aberdeen Central 61-33 to place eighth. Harrisburg beat Mitchell 65-59 for fifth place.
