SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The State B Wrestling Individual Tournament wrapped up Friday night in Sioux Falls.
Canton won the team title with 155.5 points. Kimball/White Lake/Platte-Geddes was second with 141 and Winner was third with 137 points.
Redfield was fourth 96 points and Philip rounded out the top five with 95 points. Custer was right behind in sixth with 90 points.
Area wrestlers winning titles include Chase Hanson of Stanley County, who rolled into the 120 pound championship and defeated Keilan Hurd of Miller/Highmore-Harrold in a 5-3 decision.
The Philip Scotties crowned one champion in Burk Blasius, who captured the 170 pound title with a 3-1 decision over Keegan Haider of Woonsocket/Wessington Springs/Wolsey-Wessington.
Area athletes winning consolation championships included Jace Blasius of Philip at 126, Parker Noem of Custer at 170 and Caleb Rickenbach of Hot Springs at 195.
