RAPID CITY, S.D. – The South Dakota State Cross Country Championships were held on Saturday at the Hart Ranch Camping Resort south of Rapid City.
Tate Grabow from Hill City captured the State ‘A’ boys individual title with a time of 16:17.
Peyton VanDeest from Spearfish finished fourth in the Class ‘AA’ girls race.
On the boys side, Ty Petrocco from Sturgis placed fifth in the Class ‘AA’ race and Jack Peterson from Philip was third in the Class ‘A’ race.
Meanwhile, the Philip Scotties won the State ‘B’ boys team title for the third year in a row.
