State Gymnastics; Paige Simon wins Class A All Around

MITCHELL, S.D. – The South Dakota State Gymnastics competition wrapped up Saturday in Mitchell with individual medals being awarded.

Paige Simon of Deuel won the Class A All Around title with a total of 37.233. On her way to winning the All Around, Simon won the Beam and the Bars.

Madison’s Kylie Krusemark won the Vault and Sadie Johnson of Estelline/Hendricks won the Floor Exercise.

Hot Springs’ Jaylen Nachtigall placed 4th in the Vault and sixth in the Floor. Her teammate Kiera Allen came in third in the Bars and fourth in the Beam.

In Class AA, Maeve Boetel of O’Gorman won the All Around with a score of 39.183. Myah Morris of Watertown was second and Audrey Meyer of O’Gorman was third.

Boetel captured three of the four events, the Bars, Floor and Beam. Morris captured the Vault title.
