PIERRE, S.D. – State health officials gave a COVID-19 vaccine update during their Wednesday press briefing.
South Dakota Secretary of Health Kim Malsom Rysdon says 405 doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been administered so far.
She says South Dakota has gotten 7,800 doses of the Pfizer vaccine and expects 14,600 doses of the Moderna vaccine next week.
Malsom Rysdon says Minnehaha has administered the most doses so far with 153.
So far across the Black Hills area, Pennington County has administered 67 does of the Pfizer Vaccine, Meade County has administered 8 and Lawrence County has administered one.
