State health officials report just 10 new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday

PIERRE, S.D. – South Dakota recorded just 10 new cases of COVID-19 according to health officials Wednesday.

Active cases were down another 16 to 170 and the number of people hospitalized dropped by one to 28.

No new deaths were reported, keeping the state’s death toll at 2,026.

Across the Black Hills area, there were just 4 new cases and all four were in Pennington County.
