BRANDON VALLEY, S.D. – Rapid City Post 22 remains unbeaten at the South Dakota American Legion Baseball State Tournament with a 2 to 1 win over Harrisburg Saturday.
The Hardhats scored their two runs with one in the bottom of the first and one in the bottom of the seventh – breaking a 1-1 tie to capture the win.
Drew Scherbenske and Ryker Henne had the 2 R.B.I.’s post 22 needed to stay unbeaten at the tournament. Henne added 3 hits for the Hardhats and Scherbenske had 2 hits.
In other games at the state tournament: Pierre beat Watertown 6-3, Brandon Valley defeated Sioux Falls Post 15 West 6-3, and the Renner Royals defeated Sioux Falls Post 15 East by the score of 10-5.
