PIERRE, S.D. – There were 146 new COVID-19 cases Saturday according to the state Department of Health. Of those 146, 27 were listed as probable.
Active cases of the virus total 2,149 today with the number of hospitalizations up by two to 64.
There were two new deaths reported, one of them out of Pennington County, where the death toll climbed to 189. The statewide death toll is now 1,909.
Pennington County reported 16 new cases Saturday with 2 of them listed as probable. Meade County had one new case.
Lawrence, Butte, Custer, Fall River and Oglala Lakota had no new cases to report Saturday.
