State’s COVID-19 total Thursday is 15 with one new death

PIERRE, S.D. – Health officials reported just 15 new cases of COVID-19 Thursday, the lowest daily total this year. Of those fifteen, 3 were listed as probable cases.

Active cases have dropped below 300 to 281 and the number of people hospitalized fell to 34.

One new death was reported, raising the state’s death toll to 2,020.

There were 5 total new cases reported across the Black Hills region. There was one probable and one confirmed case in Pennington County.

Butte, Custer and Fall River all had one new case each.
