RAPID CITY, S.D. – Rapid City Stevens punched their ticket to the state softball tournament by ending the season for the Sturgis Scoopers in the Class AA SoDak 16 Tuesday night.
The Raiders shut out Sturgis by the score of 14 to 0.
Stevens pulled away in the third inning on home run shots by Bailey Kokesh and Sayde Hunt.
Stevens will now compete in their first ever, state-sanctioned softball tournament.
