STURGIS, SD – The Rapid City Stevens Raiders spoiled Senior Night for the Scoopers, defeating Sturgis in straight sets on Tuesday night at West Gym.

Sturgis honored five senior players and one student manager prior to the match.

The Raiders outscored the Scoopers 25-15, 25-23 and 25-17 to get the match win and improve to 16-19 on the season. Stevens was led by junior outside hitter Brienna Brewer who tallied 10 kills and one ace.

Sturgis falls to 5-24 on the year and were led by Norah Iverson, who delivered eight kills, one ace and one assist. Senior setter Avery Fogelman had eight assists for the Scoopers.

Sturgis wraps up their regular season on Monday at Rapid City Central.
