MAVERICK JUNCTION, S.D. – Fall River County fire crews responded to a structure fire early Friday.
According to the Fall River County Sheriff’s Office, multiple 9-1-1 calls about the fire at Maverick Junction were received about the fire in a structure being used as a storage unit.
The Hot Springs Volunteer Fire Department, Hot Springs V.A. Fire Department and the Oral Volunteer Fire Department all responded to the fire and were able to keep it from spreading to nearby residences.
No injuries had been reported and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
