STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Area United Way held their annual Bucks for Breakfast drive through fundraiser Wednesday morning.
The local chapter set up in the parking lot of the Sturgis Community Center and residents were able to drive through and get a hot cup of coffee and a treat for a donation.
Kerry Lassaux, Development Director with United Way of the Black Hills, says several area businesses donated for this year’s event, including Lynn’s Dakotamart, Good Witch Cake Company, The Hotel Sturgis, Loud American Roadhouse, REV it UP Expresso and Pop’s Cookie Jar.
She says it shows the community involvement that brings such good to the area.
