STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis wrestling team picked up a pair of dual victories in quadrangular action Thursday night.
In their first match, the Scoopers defeated Huron 42-27.
The Scoopers got wins from Logan DeSersa at 126, Perry Ketelsen at 138, Brett Konst at 152, Clayton Smith at 195, Kaden Olson at 113 and Kelton Olson at 120.
Wren Jacobs at 160, and Braden Temple at 132 won by forfeit.
In the second dual, Sturgis rolled to a 60-9 win over Aberdeen Central.
Sturgis got wins from Korbin Osborn at 106, Kelton Olson at 120, Logan DeSersa at 126, Perry Kettlesen at 138, Paul Pulling at 145, Brett Konst at 152, Wren Jacobs at 160, Reese Jacobs at 170 and Taylor Coffield at 182.
Sturgis got wins by Traylin Martin and Cody Nelson by forfeit.
In other dual action in Sturgis, Rapid City Central defeated Aberdeen Central 56-23 and Huron 45-32.
Rapid City Stevens also picked up a dual win Thursday night with a 41-217 victory over Chamberlain.
