STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Brown High School Speech and Debate team has earned a first place finish in the 3A Division of the Thunder Basin Speech and Debate Tournament.
Sturgis Public Forum teams of Lilly Heisinger and Cecilia Shyne and Abby Johnson and Bono Buchtel closed out as co-champions.
Marty Jones won the Lincoln Douglas Debate championship, Codi Rounds finished first in Drama, and Jag Weyer won informative speaking.
