STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis will be celebrating History Days June 16th and 17th with events scheduled for both days.
The Sturgis Historical Society presents this year’s calendar:
June 16-17, 2023: Seventh annual History Days. Our theme will be “Trails of History.” We will celebrate trails of all kinds; from the various wagon trails, pathways, roads and highways, which have brought people and goods to the area for centuries, to the variety of modern trails which exist to bring us closer to our past. We even want to embrace more abstract “trails” which have been used over the years.
Events at the Sturgis Community Center will include:
Friday Reception with Cash Bar (4 pm to 7 pm)
Historical Booths, Saturday (9 am to Noon)
