CUSTER, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper Competitive Cheer team captured first place in the Custer Cheer and Dance Invitational Invitational on Saturday.
The Scoopers placed first with 193.5 points.
Douglas was second with 175.5 points and Belle Fourche was third with 172.5.
The Sturgis Dance Team captured first place in the Jazz competition and second in the Hip Hop competition. Hot Springs won the Hip Hop as well as the Pom competition.
