SPEARFISH, S.D. – The Sturgis Competitive Cheer won the Black Hills Conference Spirit Competition for the second straight year.
The competition was held Thursday night in Spearfish.
Sturgis finished in first with 123.50 points – a full point ahead of runner-up Belle Fourche with 122.50.
Douglas placed third with 113 and Hot Springs was fourth with 102.
Spearfish won the Grand Champion Competitive Dance with 278 points.
