STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis fire crews responded to a structure fire Friday morning on Pine Street.
Sturgis Fire Chief Scott Lensegrav says the fire began in some contents on the second floor of the structure and it ended up burning a hole through the floor.
Crews were able to quickly contain the fire and keep it from spreading to other areas of the home.
He says the cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
No injuries to human or domestic animals were reported.
