STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis fire crews responded to a structure fire Wednesday afternoon.
Fire officials say the call came in just before 3:30 p.m. from Ox Yoke Road, just over Sly Hill.
First arriving fire crews found a garage fully engulfed in flames, with the fire spreading to the adjoining home.
Fort Meade and Sturgis fire department’s attacked the fire while crews from Whitewood and Vale Fire department’s assisted with manpower and tenders.
Fire crews were able to save part of the home.
There were no injuries to firefighters, civilians or pets reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
