STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper girls basketball team will be under new leadership next season as Coach Jordan Proefrock announced her resignation.
Proefrock has been at the helm for the past eight years.
Proefrock says she is stepping down to spend more time with her family and plans to remain a teacher within the Meade 46-1 School District.
Sturgis ended this past season with a record of 5-15, and missed the post-season.
