Sturgis has great third quarter tax report

STURGIS, S.D. – The September Sales Tax and Tourism Tax Report shows significant increases for General Sales Tax and Tourism (BBB) Tax.

The general sales tax collection for September (month over month) is up 21.4%.

General sales tax collections for January – September (year over year) is up 13.4%.

Tourism Sales Tax (BBB) for September (month over month) is up 32.1%

Tourism tax collections so far this year are up 26.8% – this is a new record.
