STURGIS, S.D. – A Sturgis man charged with two felonies pleaded not guilty this past week in a Lawrence County courtroom.
Charles Chase John Kaiser, 35, was indicted in December with making a terrorist threat and commission of a felony while armed with a firearm.
If convicted, Kaiser faces up to five years in prison on the terrorist threat charge and 25 years for the firearm charge.
The offenses are alleged to have occurred in November in Lawrence County.
Kaiser is currently free on $5,000 cash only bond. His next court appearance has been set for April 16th.
