STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis Main Street will transform into a show of Mustang’s this weekend as the annual Mustang Rally invades town.
The 18th Annual event began Tuesday and runs through Sunday.
Racing, Burn-outs and auto-cross highlight Thursday and Friday events and the annual Show and Shine hits Main Street on Saturday.
The Annual Show and Shine gives every proud Mustang owner an opportunity to shine up their vehicles and show them off to each other and the public and they just might win an award. Attendees can view, admire and experience the many aspects of each Mustang new and classic.
To show appreciation for the Show N Shine participants, the Sturgis Mustang Rally Awards choice Mustangs with a Beautifully Crafted Trophy.
The Thunderdome east of Sturgis on Highway 34 is home to Mustang Headquarters this year, where many of the racing events are taking place.
Mustang owners will also have the opportunity to cruise the Black Hills with a fun run Thursday through Spearfish Canyon and Deadwood, a Poker Run to Custer on Friday and Parade Cruise through Sturgis after the Show and Shine on Saturday.
