STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis PAL, or Police Athletic League, announced an update with incredible blessings over the weekend.
The group announced the winner of this year’s motorcycle raffle has picked up his bike.
The winner of this year’s raffle was Josh Blevins of Colorado. Josh and his wife came back up last week and picked up the motorcycle.
Also, during this year’s Rally, the group says they had big supporter of the Sturgis PAL mission give a $10,000 donation to put towards building the youth of the Sturgis community with their programs, including boxing, mountain biking and cops and kids programs.
The person who made the donation wished to remain anonymous.
Furthermore, Sturgis PAL says after the rally, “members of Stinger Saloon and the DOBBERS Society dropped by and gave us a generous donation of $5,850. They also support our mission. THANK YOU!!”
The group says all of these funds go directly towards PAL programs and help in mentoring and building solid relationships with the area youth.
Sturgis PAL still has a girls bike to give away. The group hopes to draw the winner for that this coming week.
