MITCHELL, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper Wrestling squad placed second at the Jerry Opbroek Invitational.
Pierre won the team title with 185 points with Sturgis placing second with 172 points.
Rapid City Stevens was third with 163.5, Watertown was fourth with 163 and Mitchell round out the top five with 118.5.
Sturgis crowned three champions on the day. Kelton Olson captured the 132 pound title, Reese Jacobs won at 170 and Aiden Werlinger won at 195.
Zac Juelfs captured second at 220.
