PIERRE, SD / STURGIS, SD — The Sturgis Post 33 Titans traveled to Pierre on Tuesday night and dropped a pair of Legion baseball games. The Titans lost game one to the Aberdeen Smitty’s, 5-4, after a furious comeback late in the contest. Pierre Post 8 shutout Post 33, 8-0, holding the Titans to just two hits in the second game.
The Post 33 Riders junior legion team hosted the Post 22 Expos in a doubleheader at Strong Field losing game one, 13-0 in five innings and game two, 14-1 in six innings.The Titans are in action again this weekend at Strong Field as they host the Sturgis Baseball Rally with games on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
