Sturgis Rally Day 2 – Mayor’s Ride highlights the day

STURGIS, S.D. – Day number 2 of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally featured the annual Mayor’s Ride, which saw nearly 200 riders depart the Sturgis Community Center on a ride to Devil’s Tower National Monument.

This year’s ride was led by Mayor Angela Wilkerson – her first as Mayor of Sturgis.

To participate, individuals must be 21 years or older and pay a fee of $150 per person. 150 spaces are available.

The ride takes participants through the stunning Black Hills, providing an opportunity to soak in the picturesque scenery on the way to Devils Tower.

As a special memento, participants receive a souvenir pack that includes various exclusive collectibles provided by the sponsors. This pack includes a commemorative Jack Daniel’s Single-Barrel bottle personally signed by the mayor, a 2024 Challenge Coin, a 22nd Annual Mayor’s Ride shirt and an entry pass for Custer State Park, as well as other collectibles.

The Mayor’s Ride during the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally offers a thrilling adventure through the scenic Black Hills, combining the joy of riding with notable landmarks and a unique assortment of collectibles to create an unforgettable experience for motorcycle enthusiasts.
