Sturgis Sales Tax for May up 2.25-percent

STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis Finance Officer Adam Hosch provided the city council the latest sales tax update at their meeting Monday night.

He says sales in the month of May were 2.25% higher than May of 2023..

Hosch, however, says the Triple B tax was down in May.

May’s Triple B sales tax was just over $36,000, compared to nearly $38,000 in May of 2023.
