STURGIS, S.D. – This year’s Sturgis Graduation was held Sunday at a packed gymnasium at Sturgis Brown High School.
This year’s Class Speakers were Martin Jones and Bono Buchtel.
Jordyn Richter, Student Body President, also offered encouragement to her fellow classmates.
“The cost of procrastination is the life that you could have lived,” Richter stated. “You have a fire inside of you. Don’t ever let the ease of standing still or giving up, put it out.”
This year’s Class Song was Scotty McCreery’s ‘Five More Minutes,’ and the Class Motto was ‘I Don’t Know Where I’m Going From Here, But I Promise It Won’t Be Boring,’ by David Bowie.
There were 183 graduates in the 2024 Class.
