SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The Sturgis softball team earned their first win of the season with a lopsided 21-4 win over Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
Sturgis had 15 hits on the day and outscored the Rough Riders 11-2 in the final three innings after taking a 10-2 lead after three.
Brooke Wolf led Sturgis offensively, going 2 for 5 with three runs and two R.B.I.
Bella Cramer earned the win for Sturgis, allowing four runs on seven hits with four strikeouts and no walks.

Sioux Falls Washington edged out Rapid City Stevens 8-7 and Rapid City Central dropped a twin-bill to Brookings and Mitchell as the Bobcats won game one 18-0 and the Kernels beat the Cobblers 11-8.
