STURGIS, S.D. – Sturgis hosted Rapid City Post 320 Friday night and earned a split with the Stars at Strong Field.
In game one, Post 320 used an 8 run fifth inning to defeat the Titans 12-2.
Lane Darrow paced Post 320 with 3 hits and 2 R.B.I. Gavyn Dansby added 2 R.B.I. for Post 320.
David Anderson got the pitching start for Post 33, and went 4.2 innings, striking out 7.
In game two, the Titans used a 5 run bottom of the sixth rally to come back and beat the Stars 8-6.
Post 320 led 6-3 heading into the bottom of the inning before Sturgis began their comeback.
The Titans’ were led by Dustin Alan, who had 2 hits and 2 R.B.I.
R.J. Andrzejewski also had 2 R.B.I. for Sturgis.
