STURGIS, S.D. – Officials with A.M.A. Pro Racing and the City of Sturgis conducted a test of the street course for the upcoming Sturgis TT Race Tuesday morning.

The test took place on the streets of downtown Sturgis where the race track will be set up. It includes a block of Main Street, Third Street, Sherman Street and Harley Davidson Way.

Gray says they anticipating some great racing on the streets of downtown Sturgis and anticipates a lot of riders who will be in Rapid City for a Tuesday race that week to come to Sturgis for the weekend TT.

Gray says their test rider, Brian Smith, was pleased with the surface and overall race course route.

Race officials will be on site throughout the week to not only study the proposed track route, but also to meet with members of the community and answer any questions they may have.

The Sturgis TT race will be livestreamed on the day of the race and Fox Television will broadcast the race on August 17th at Noon MT.
