STURGIS, S.D. – The Sturgis Public Works Department says crews have discovered a small water leak on a line that runs down 9th Street between Lazelle and Park Avenue.
In a Facebook post, the Department says they are working on repairing the leak .
Officials say at this time it is a very small leak that almost went unnoticed. They are working with South Dakota Rural Waters leak detection team to try and source the location of the leak and the post says they are pretty confident they know the location.
Residents/Businesses in this area may experience a period of no water service, however crews hope to be able to keep it to a few hours.
