MITCHELL, S.D. – The Sturgis Scooper wrestling team won the Jerry Opbroek Wrestling Tournament held in Mitchell Saturday.
The Scoopers finished with 199.5. Pierre was second with a 191 and Watertown was third with 189.5 points. Rapid City Stevens was fourth and Parkston rounded out the top five.
Sturgis crowned four champions, including Teryn Zebroski at 113, Reese Jacobs at 182, Aiden Werlinger at 195 and Zak Juelfs at 220. Second place for finishers for Sturgis included Tegan Zebroski at 120 and Thayne Elshere at 138.
