SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Sturgis placed third in the Floyd Farrand Invitational held in Sioux Falls Thursday.
The Scoopers scored 243 points and crowned two champions.
Brandon Valley, with five champions, won the team title with 268.5 and Watertown was second. Tea Area placed fourth and Brookings rounded out the top five.
Winning championships for the Scoopers were Reese Jacobs at 182 and Aiden Werlinger at 195.
Sturgis also had a couple of second place finishers in Thayne Elshere at 138 and Zac Juelfs at 220.
Capturing third place wins were Teryn Zebroski at 113, Tegan Zebroski at 120 and Dakarai Osborne at heavyweight.
